Home Visits

If you are too ill to attend surgery please phone before 10:30AM if possible so that the doctors can plan their visits.Doctor's bag

Make sure to give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priorities.

Remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time that it takes to do a home visit.  Home visits are normally carried out after morning surgery has finished which is between 12:30PM and 14:00PM.

Please not that we cannot guarantee that you will be seen by your usual doctor. If there are a lot of visits, the doctor’s share these out by location as our practice are is large.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
