Consultations are by appointment only. To make one, telephone the appointment line above or come into the surgery during surgery hours. If possible make the appointment well in advance to see your usual doctor as they do get booked up.

Urgent appointments are always available the same day, but not always with the doctor of your choice. Routine appointments may be booked in advance subject to availability. You can also book an appointment over the internet. To do this, please ask at reception for more information on how to register.

Please note that our surgery operate on a triage system for emergency appointments this is run by the duty doctor of the day. We ask that you give as much information as possible to our reception staff so that they can place you with the most appropriate clinician.

Alongside this, the consultations are conducted in English. If you require a translator or have special needs, please contact us in advance.

If you may not know, we offer extended hours on a Thursday morning starting from 7:00AM. These appointments can be booked in advance to help workers who are unable to get to see us at normal surgery times.

Telephone Advice

Your doctor or practice nurse will be happy to give advice on the telephone when they are not consulting. If you leave your details with the receptionists, they will ask the doctor or nurse to return your call. This type of appointment is for any circumstances that you feel can be dealt with over the telephone.

Please note that calls taken in the afternoon may not be dealt with until the following day.

Cancellation of Appointments

Many appointments are lost each month because patients fail to attend. If you cannot keep your appointment, please contact one of the reception staff as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone else.

We kindly ask that you think appropriately about booking an appointment as misuse of the doctor's time would be both a waste of your and the doctor’s time when it could be used to see another patient with more urgent needs.
